Inaugurated in November 2020 by the former Chairman, Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board, Late Thiru A. V. Venkatachalam IFS [Retired], in presence of Prof. Bhaskar Ramamurthi, Director IIT Madras, and several eminent guests, on No-vember 20th 2019. Since the commencement of operations and inauguration, CEL has steadily worked its way to establish itself in the ecosys-tem.
CEL is certified under the ISO Integrated Man-agement System fulfilling three ISO Standards simultaneously, ISO 9001 for Quality Manage-ment, ISO 14001 for Environment Management and ISO 45001 for Health and Safety.
CEL is also a proud NABL 17025:2017 accredited laboratory with a comprehensive scope of 162 parameters.
CEL plans to expand the service portfolio further in soil testing, microbiology and aim towards BIS Accredita-tion. Plans to be an NABL Proficiency Testing Providers accreditation under ISO/IEC 17043. are also underway. CEL also plans to nurture young talent and provide a growth environment for young graduates from leading universities by offering training and internship programs.
